Royal Enfield have introduced a roadster
version of its popular Bullet Electra 500 with revised looks and
performance. The Bullet Electra XS has been developed by Royal Enfield’s
UK distributor, Watsonian Squire, in response to requests from customers
and dealers for a machine more in the style of the Company’s sports models
of the 1960’s, such as the Continental GT and
Interceptor, than the 1950’s Bullet.
The most obvious changes are to the
front end, where chrome speedometer, rev counter and headlight unit
replace the nacelle unit that has served the Bullet for over 50 years.
Flat handlebars complete the look and help to create a more sporting
riding position.
